BRIEF HISTORY OF DGC
Gus Gustafson had a constant desire as he grew up to become a minister for the Lord. It wasn’t until Gus was fiat on his back recovering from pneumonia, that he began to hear that still small voice of God informing him of the ministry God had planned for him. As it turned out, God wanted him to “tell the world” that God doesn’t only need ordained ministers to reach out to his people, but laity as well. From that experience, Gus went on to become the Founder and first president of Discover God’s Call. His wife, Estelle, assisted him in the beginning, by serving as National Registrar and Treasurer. Prior to his death in August 2003, Gus was President Emeritus of Discover God’s Call..
